Gothic Steampunk from Hungary
DHARMA’s origin dates back to 2007. Several months after their establishment, this Hungarian group’s first EP came out, mixing rock and metal with gothic, industrial and oriental elements. A year and several gigs later, a compilation The Funeral Vol.2 was published by the American company 272 Records and the band’s first video was finished. In 2009, the group’s first album “Heavenly Hell” was released and nominated for best debut album of the year in Hungary. DHARMA then shared stages with Epica and Deathstars and set off on a tour to France. In 2011, Ani Ritzel took the spot of the main vocalist and successfully made her live debut at 2012’s Gothica festival. In the same year, DHARMA released its second CD and finished its music video for the song One by one, which will undoubtedly capture the attention of many a fan of fantasy and steampunk.
